Did you see the view from behind the LOS?
He has to hold it, there is no receiver to go to. Both options were just outside the hash marks and had the defender right on their backs. There was no quick hitting options. Just toss it? What does that do?

Still playing this stupid zone defense on 3rd and long. I hate this defense. There's no attack when an offense is vulnerable.

It really bugs the fuck outta me that they never bring any A gap pressure to get in the QBs face. They just rush 4 with 5 OL and a RB and give a vet like Cousins all the time he needs.

Blitzing with a LB from the outside just allows the OT to slide out and pick him up. They never force a OL to make a choice that might be wrong.
