Any successful pass to the flat requires a solid 1st block by the WR on the CB. That didn't happen.

On 3rd and 5 from that spot, I'd prefer a bunch formation from 3 WRs and find the slant or out about 7yds away.

3rd and 2, Vic has Slay 10yds off.

Great inside move by Smith, you could see the RT wasn't looking at Smith when he jump set and he overcommitted to the outside speed rush.

Not trying to pick on Hurts at all, just thought he was looking at Saquon the whole time.

2nd time WRs not getting solid initial blocks for the screen.

Moore not anticipating blitz/pressure.

Needs quicker hitting routes.

Not a single WR was looking at Hurts even 5yds beyond the LOS.

There is immediate pressure and Smith should have cut his route in the middle.

Unbelievable play by Slay.

I really wish they'd call games for Hurts the way they called it for McKee. They rely on Hurts to make people miss and the routes are too long. Make them pay for blitzing with quick hitters.
