Also I was at game 1. The Phillies let some slob who has called Philly fans degenerates and 2nd rate scum bags throw out the first pitch in a Mets Jersey because he is the leader of a Mets fan group and bought 1500 tickets. Losers.

The Mets are just a much better team than the Phillies.

Nah. They're exactly where they were 2-3 weeks ago: The #3 wild card and a prohibitive first-round underdog.
These games are just showing us what our brief October appearance will look like. I still think they're in. Thanks to the schedule, they'll outplay the Brewers between now and the wire.

I still think that if (Big if) they made the playoffs, they would at least have a shot as unlike the past few years, they have the pitching to compete
Problem is Scherzer/Degrom are going to be tough for anyone to beat
