Hurts did not practice today, so the Hurts may play nar is probably just a smokecreen
Also of concern is that Sanders did not practice today due to a knee issue
This game on Sunday gets more and more worrisome

Eagles’ two losses were due to turnovers and inability to get off the field. Saints are not capable of beating this team. Dead last in takeaways and don’t have the offense to play keep away like Washington and Dallas sort of did.

In theory yes, but neither did the Colts or Bears and those games were close
Need the D to be stellar and force some turnovers

Hurts was a limited participant.
I still think Minshew starts, but if they lose, I would expect Hurts vs the Giants
In that case, root for the Giants this weekend so that they have nothing to play for

D couldn't handle Fields and the offense turned it over a few times. No idea what happened in Indy. Odd game.

[Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is doubtful to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder injury, the team announced.]
Eagles need to win with Minshew.on Sunday so they don't need to think about starting Hurts vs the Gints. Let him rest until the divisional round of the playoffs.
Even with that, it might be better for Hurts and the Eagles to have to play 3 playoff games than risk getting Hurts hurt more and have him miss playoff games. I don't have the same confidence in Minshew that I did with Foles.

I imagine Howie is really in Nick's ear about the importance of this game. He wants to win that trade by as wide a margin as possible. Damn Saints have won 2 straight and still have something to play for.

Eagles have to win or their whole season could go down the tubes, Can't let #1 seed come down to the last game

Eagles are winning this. Of course they will make it a game as they love to play to the level of their competition.
Its not going to come to next week. Giants will be resting their guys if they clinch this week.
