Do teams even have conversations about pitching to Schwarber in the first inning?
Are they THAT afraid of the Phillies' offense to just pitch around him?

Sadly Sosa - the more he plays, the more he shows that he is just a marginal player

Just nothing on the bench and we still don't know where Marsh will bottom out at

Going to need at least 3 from the bullpen, but need more runs first

Meanwhile, Marlins already won, Reds about to win and the Giants winning again

June Schwarber >>>>> April-May; July-Nov Schwarber

I think Marsh will be fine, but the idea of giving at-bats to Pache to let him get his swing back is daft.
I think Cave has earned another shot.

The Phillies -- despite all the outcry -- never really had the luxury of benching Schwarber, given how up-and-down the offense is. He's a guy you just keep running out there until one of his hot streaks kicks in.

That's an excellent question.
They really are hobbled by having to keep a Guthrie or Pache on the roster as backup CF

Cave has played CF almost every day at Lehigh Valley. I don't know what their assessment of him out there is, though. All he has to do is be competent as the emergency CF guy.

Interesting to see Wheeler's pitch-count economy (or lack thereof) vs. Walker & Suarez

The other problem is that Cave is a LH

If/when Harper gets moved to 1B. I would give Cave a shot in LF, DH Schwarber and carry one less reliever

Offense missing in action again!
