About to be 1 for 8 with RISP

Zero reason to keep putting Clemens out there

This offense is just not good.

Failed to take advantage of only chink in Gray's armor: his tendency to walk people

Yes, Kody needs to go, but about 5 other guys need to do their jobs.
Stott should be in Turner's spot.

Problem is outside of Kody - there are no moves right now that they are going to make

It is too bad that Cave is LH - he deserves another chance

Nor can/should they. The season will hinge on these guys hitting or not hitting. There are not other guys.

On other note, Strahm has already surpassed his innings of last year. They can't workhorse him in the second half. If they can get another effective 30 IP from him in second half, that's a minor miracle.

I'd like to see him in a platoon with an acquired RH outfielder once Harper is at 1B.

This game was so predictable.

This is a bad loss - get solid pitching out of the 5th starter and the offense comes up small and unclutch again

27th in OPS with RISP
were 7th last year

It's one game - but they have 6 tough games next week - can't blow games to the Nats

Yep. Tonight was the toughest pitching matchup, but it ended up being a winnable game.
Gotta sweep the next 2.
