The Eagles can't get off the field on too many 3rd and shorts because they play that stupid off coverage that doesn't allow the rush or blitz to get home, it allows too many 3 step drop slants, outs and crosses. These are drive extenders and it's unnecessary.

Hurts looks like he's waiting for something to develop that's not there.

That's not fair nor accurate.

He was waiting for Z to break free across the deep middle and he stood in. If you notice the view from behind, all the routes were deep routes. He had to wait. He didn't pull it down and escape.

That's great QB play.

Critics have been saying Hurts won't stand in, he won't step up in the pocket to deliver the ball down field.
