Brandon Lee Gowton
@BrandonGowton
Doesn’t necessarily mean everything (or anything) but new #Eagles WR Zach Pascal graded 94th out of 94 wide receivers graded by
@PFF last season.

Philly NBC's latest...
https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/ ... nsive-line
1. Drake London WR USC
2. Nakobi Dean LB Georgia
3. Devante Wyatt DL Georgia.
Rather have Devin Lloyd LB Utah. Wyatt or Jermaine Johnson toss up. Drake London YES!

I think BLG has it wrong I read it was 94 out of a number more like 110 or so. Not a huge difference. But this is a truism, because this is a fill in the roster move more than a lets get a WR Superstar in free agency.

Philly NBC sports verus Jimmy Kempski 1st round side by side...
https://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-only ... ris-olave/
15. Kenny Pickett QB Pittsburgh
16. Jordan Davis DT Georgia
17. Chris Olave WR Ohio State
I don't like KP at 15. I'd rather have Drake Jordan.
I like Jordan Davis at 16 if he is there more than Nakobi Dean
Chris Olave IMO is not a number one in the big show so picking him at 19 is a bit of a waste.
Obviously this is just an exercise by Philaphans to critique the locals. IOW having some pre draft fun and giggles.

Colts add 38 year old Matt Ryan for a 3rd round pick. 2 yrs/54M. Curious what you all think about whether Howie should have made that deal? Wouldn't the Eagles be better over the course of the next 2 years? And Hurts could have continued to learn and been ready step in if needed.

You are better off seeing what Hurts has in the tank at the contract he carries and build around that. So far, Howie has totally whiffed on that.
Ryan doesn't move the needle enough to hide the other flaws in this roster. While I was not a proponent of dealing for Watson, he or Wilson would have been that shield because of their talent.

Obviously it depends on what you think of Hurts. Some are more optimistic that he will improve with time. Last year I saw a guy who reverted to street ball too often, including the entirety of the playoff game where he showed no sign of having learned anything about playing the QB position.

Tyreek Hill on the move and Eagles nowhere to be found
