I think Bohm's best position might actually be LF but this is one case where I'm glad they disagree because you know they'd be sticking him out there with Didi at 3B if they could.

I just hate the way they do business. Moves that feel like lateral moves at best and slight stepbacks at worst just because it keeps the books cleaner and they can commit to 1 year instead of 2. That's loser franchise stuff not WS contender franchise things.

Sadly I have to agree with you on this. I truly hate everything they have done this off-season other than Knebel. Famila and Hand are a joke, especially at those prices...their back catchers are worse than Knapp and even without an injury, I could see the backup Catcher starting at least 40 games. Didi will DH on most days with JT DHing mostly when LHP is going

Wentz the player - big letdown, but the pick led to the desired result

In possibly good news, the Mariners' big trade with the Reds probably takes them out of the Kris Bryant running. (They had concerned me as a Bryant suitor)

Also, if I were the Phillies' GM, I'd look into acquiring Votto to DH from the Reds' fire sale.
