Can't do that. This is a major learning experience for Jalen. You don't bring in somebody with no real future to take the place of your #1. It does no good for Jalen and it really won't help the team overall.

Aikman finally sees and acknowledges the safety over the top on Smith's side. He hasn't been open because they've been doubling him or bracketing him all game. That's why Hurts hasn't been looking that way.

So forfeit a winnable game to keep someone's feelings from getting hurt. Not sure I agree with that
