You have to know what you're talking about but like a lot of others, you default to attacking Hurts instead of the play call and especially the route run by Smith. That is a trust throw. Smith had to stick his foot in the ground and get in front of that safety. Hurts is throwing to a spot, Smith didn't get there and let the deep safety seal him off.

Not Hurts' fault.

There's no recognition of Cover Zero and getting Smith to break off his route.
