Braves trade Vaughn "last out of NLDS" Grissom for Chris "never healthy" Sale. Red Sox are paying $17M of Chris Sale's $27M salary next season. So Braves get a former, former, former ace for $10M. But I don't understand the move for them at all. They need long-term rotation pieces and guys who will get them across the finish line in October. Not regular-season rolls of the dice.

Braves rotation: Strider, Fried, Morton, Sale, Elder (or a young guy)
They retain the deepest offense in the National League, but I don't see how their rotation is better. I don't see how their rotation stays healthy. And I don't see how that rotation wins a tough series in October.

Diamondbacks have had a nice offseason, adding SP Eduardo Rodriguez, 3B Eugenio Suarez and about to add DH Joc Pederson. They beat us despite basically having voids at all those spots.

Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell, Jordan Montgomery, Matt Chapman, Jorge Soler, Adam Duvall, JD Martinez,
