I suspect that as soon as the Phillies got the hint that's where the Bryant bidding was going (probably last night), they pivoted and blew away the other offers (probably adding the fourth year) on Schwarber.

There's plenty of trades out there the Phillies can still explore if they're aggressive, ballsy and willing to add payroll
