Tiebreakers may come into play

Giants- lose
Dbacks-win
Reds-win
Cubs-win
Marlins-TBD

So losing today cost them a tiebreaker.

I don't envision them finishing behind the Giants, so not too worried.
Won the series.
Harper is heating the hell up.

Keeping pitchers from burnout is the big job now. Gotta keeping winning series without fatiguing entire staff by mid-September. Big juggling act for Thomson. They're going to have to depend on some guys to do more, and the callups can't get here fast enough.

Giants' next 3 series:
-- Braves
-- Reds
-- Padres

That's the season for them right there. They could solidify themselves as a Top 2 wild-card team or find themselves in dire straits.

No party for Phillies' either. Just gotta keep taking 2 of 3. Or even tread water with some 3-3 weeks that shouldn't hurt too much.

-- Cardinals (3)
-- Angels (3)
-- Brewers (3)
-- Padres (3)
-- Marlins (3)
-- Braves (4)
-- Cardinals (3)
-- Braves (3)
-- Mets (4)
-- Pirates (3)
-- Mets (3)

That's a damn shame. What a waste of Harper's heroics.

Phils have little margin for an extended struggle like last year when they lost 10 of 13. They have lost 6 of their last 10 already. Really need to win 4 of their next 6 somehow
