Turner is nothing but an albatross to this team.

I can't stand him now, not sure how I can watch this crap for years to come.

and they shot up their bullpen in a loss - going to be ugly in the late innings tomorrow if close (though it can't be uglier than tonight)

Trying to pull outside corner sliders not the best idea.

and we ripped on Harrison - but Stubbs is anemic offensively too

This is a crushing loss that is going to cost them any shot at tomorrow's game too with their bullpen use

Resign Segura
Move Stott to SS
DFA Turner

(can't be any worse)

In fairness to Covey, he should have been able to walk away with game won if not for Turner's b.s.

But still, Thomson saw what happens when Covey is put in a real situation. He generally implodes.

Killer loss.

This, despite a 5-0 lead and two difficult, run-saving catches by Castellanos.

and it doesn't matter where they bat Trea - he will come up too often with men on base and is an automatic out

He is unplayable

Problem is Sosa isn't that good either, so you aren't getting much out of SS regardless.

Whether he "rebounds" next season we'll see - I'd be shocked if he is even close to a good player. However, that is in the future. For this year - he is cooked. Every time he has a decent game, the media starts with their he's back BS - it isn't going to happen. The booing of him at CBP is going to intensify (and the fans will get criticized) and he will continue to be pure garbage

I just don't see how you can make the playoffs with this line-up, especially now that their bullpen is leaking oil big time, as that has been what has kept them in it (along with the starting pitching).

Turner will end up as the most despised Phillie in our lifetime

I'm sorry, DFAing Sanchez to keep Covey is a crime.
