I'm about THIS close to saying leave Kimbrel OFF the playoff roster. You can't trust that dude. At all.

For who?
For now, I think Alvarado will handle top/middle of the order, whether it's the eighth or ninth.
I think Kimbrel will get the 8th if the it's the bottom half of the order and, likewise, he'll still close in the 9th if Alvarado has handled a tough eighth and the bottom of the opponents' order is due up.
====
Postseason pitchers (12 in wild card, 13 if they advance)
1. Wheeler
2. Nola
3. Walker
4. Suarez
5. Sanchez
6. Lorenzen
7. Strahm
8. Alvarado
9. Hoffman
10. Kimbrel
11. Soto
12. Dominguez
OTHERS: Marte, Covey, Brogdon, Bellatti, Kerkering???
One of those guys will be #13 on a potential Division Series roster, if they advance. If you dump Kimbrel you need TWO of those others.
