Sign a guy who has been inferior to Neris and Graveman because he's a million bucks cheaper. Love those Phillies.
Glad their two big moves so far have been an anti-vax nut job and a guy with a DV suspension.
Yeah, the pivot from "shitty relievers" to "likely shitty relievers who are also difficult to cheer for" -- I should have seen that coming, given this franchise. Sigh.
Not to mention that Familia hasn't even been effective since 2018.

"Sign Bryant/Schwarber/Suzuki and make the leads too big for a bad bullpen to blow" is the best/only strategy at this point

Sorry to piss everyone off on a Sunday
Jim Salisbury
@JSalisburyNBCS
As Phillies look to fill two openings in outfield, a reunion with Odubel Herrera is possible. There’s been recent contact between two sides. We’ll see where it goes.
Bring back the lockout

Other guys following Salisbury and saying the deal is being worked out with Herrera.
The only things this franchise excels at are being unlikable and actively kicking fans in the stomach

Also, they should have signed Tyler Anderson yesterday. Pitching is going to sink this season before it starts.

I mean, if they want to shitty and cheap, they could just pay Vierling $700,000 to play CF and bat ninth

Doing their best to make me hate baseball and this shitty unlikeable franchise.

Meanwhile one great and one solid move by the Mets, getting Chris Bassitt from A's and signing Ottavino for less than we paid Familia.
Mets rotation:
Max Scherzer
Jacob DeGrom
Taijuan Walker
Chris Bassitt
Carlos Carrasco
Phillies rotation (April):
Zack Wheeler
Aaron Nola
Kyle Gibson
Bailey Falter
Hans Crouse
Wish we had someone like Cohen as owner

Please, please, please, no Odumbell. Even the thought of this makes me sick and wonder who is really in charge here. If this is true, it can't be Dombrowski. If it's Sam Fuld, then I'd have to say this was a bad choice.

Very excited for the Phillies to give the Girardi a bunch of platoon options, so that he can then keep the rookie pieces of the platoon on the bench in favor of "veterany guys" in "big moments"
