That view from behind shows that 3rd and 18 wasn't anywhere near Slay's fault. The amount of time Desai gave Tua let him throw that deep out that is impossible to stop with where Tua threw that ball.
You can't expect a CB to cover that long in space. Tua threw that ball before the WR broke to the right

Brown didn't sell that outside move very well at all.
That allowed Apple to jump that route.
Lazy route running, relying on his size and hands.

How do you get rid of it quicker when the RG whiffs totally on his block? Also, the routes are deep and Johnson won't shorten the passing game. They keep relying on Hurts' to escape pressure.
