The Phillies are going to convince themselves that Scott Kingery is refreshed, fixed and ready to contribute, aren't they?

I think Harper asks out at this deadline.
The Phillies are as we sit the 4th best team in the division.
Tough

Harper took less money per season so the Phils could spend money to put other good players around him. That was after Middleton said he was ready to spend stupid money to bring the Phillies another championship. Now, it feels like the Phillies are getting back to their old cheapskate ways. Signing Odumbell (to a major league deal, no less) is not only stupid, but lazy. I'd be surprised if any of the other 29 teams even considered him for a minor league deal. It also tells us, no matter what the say, just what the Phils think about Moniak and Haseley. I agree that they are busts, but to the point that Herrera is a better option? Once the Lockout ended, we were looking for Bryant, Castellanos and Schwarber. What happened?
