Nola & Wheeler are on fumes, and we knew that.

Oh, I’m with you on this having the be a 2-1 game for the Phillies to win, but the hitting approaches have been abysmal tonight. Completely pull happy and swinging for the fences.

I do agree, and said last night, that was the one downside of homerfest. To win a couple more, we need multihit innings and RISP hitting. (Yes, need runners for RISP)

Nola over 230 innings this year. We're not here without his regular-season start vs. Houston & playoff starts vs. St. Louis and Atlanta.

Which is why I scratched my head on the Game 4 assignment. Give him an extra day and burn Syndergaard tonight against Javier.
