Everything you guys are saying about Harden is true but if the choices are:
1. Morey gone and Harden plays this year and then leaves; or
2. Harden sits out the entire year, Morey stays
Which one would you pick? I pick the former.
Footnote - hardens quote was he would not be part of an organization that morey is a part of. He did not mention the sixers.

If it wasn’t a Philly sports team I would think it would not be possible to have this many morons running one franchise. But this is Philly after all.
I would have to agree with you. Get Daryl the hell out of here at all costs so he can’t completely destroy the rest of Joel’s career.

Harden isn't going to change his tune about a trade if Morey is fired.
Harden isn't going to play well this season.
Harden isn't getting a max contract.
The 76ers aren't winning anything this season, with or without Harden.
Fire Morey, sure. But not until after Harden is gone. Don't give him his way and then watch as he still stabs us.

If Harden wanted to be elsewhere, he could have rejected the player option and signed with any team he wanted, were he willing to accept their monetary offer.
The biggest issue now is figuring out if/how Embiid's attitude toward Philly can be salvaged.

This nonsense goes all the way back to Charles Barkley for me. I just can't understand why this team continues to destroy relationships with its generational players. Why does it always have to (seemingly) end like this?
