Not only that, both pitches were slurves in almost the same location with near similar speeds. Pitch probably looked like a beach ball to Harper

Plus with the Phillies up 4-0 and Bryce down 0-2 in the count, he was probably just thinking to go for bust: Either I whiff or homer.

Seriously, though, that's why the Phillies pitching has been so impressive this year. They are talented, yes, but they are outthinking opposing hitters and lineups. Keeping them guessing and off-balance and not making stupid decisions.
