Walker to 15-day IL:
"The Phillies announced this morning that they’ve placed right-hander Taijuan Walker on the 15-day injured list due to inflammation in his right index finger. Right-hander Michael Mercado was recalled to the majors in a corresponding move. Mercado’s first appearance will be his big league debut."

Outstanding win, today.
Sanchez is a stud. What a steal to lock him up for 4 years when he hasn't stopped out yet. He will get better. Next off-season,.he adds another pitch, a breaking pitch, maybe he can add a 2 seam running fastball. With his location, look out.
Nice series win after dropping the opener.

We won 4-3. Not my son. I've switched to my daughter's team as their coach had to step down for health reasons. If I didn't take over, they likely would have lost the women's junior team.
