Another pathetic performance from this offense.

From top to bottom, this is a lineup filled with undisciplined hitters.

Another embarrassing loss incoming. Will need a miracle in the 9th to come back

I can’t see how anyone thinks this group is a legitimate World Series contender. Nothing but a barely .500 team since June who feasted off lesser competition in the beginning of the season.

I really don't believe in the whole "turning it on in the playoffs" thing, but I do believe in momentum. Going into the bye on a losing streak is not really a great confidence builder. Especially to a team 24 games behind us in the standings.

Phillies are 4-8 in last 12 and have a losing record since the all star break. This team has all the markings of making a very quick exit in the NLDS and they didn’t exactly play well against the Brewers, Mets, Diamondbacks, or. Braves recently.

Maybe the small break will help, but there are so many flaws with this offense. Long will likely be the scapegoat at the end of the season, but the real blame lies with the superstar hitters who consistently fail to produce when needed.

Have to hope the light switch turns on for the offense.
