Important for the Phillie hitters to get back on course tonight...Walker is a guy that can be gotten to early. Hopefully the Phils will show a little more patience today.

Against some pitchers, the game plan is to swing early. Plus Jeffries was throwing a lot of first pitch strikes. He had a low BB per 9 IP in the minors
A # of hard hit balls that were caught
It is not always about patience. You need to approach different pitchers, different ways

Talk about fucking yourself. Ranger and or Bohm have to make that play and then Ranger walking hitters. He was victim to some real good hitting, but damn that is a hole they have themselves in.
Very interested to see how the offense responds. Only 10 hits the last 2 days and several hitters not off to good starts, so this would be a good game for them to break out

Mets 3 runs without a HR. Would like to see the Phillies do that, but that’s not their team makeup.

This is what I was worried about with Bryce, he was red-hot in ST and Ice cold now, his timing seems way off. They better get it figured out real quick on offense.
