Nothing to do but move forward and beat up on the Reds.

Not going to go overboard and call tonight a must win game, but it is important for the team (and fan's) psyche

Remaining strength of schedule

Cardinals .458 (third-easiest in baseball)
Phillies .466 (fourth-easiest in baseball)
Braves .470 (sixth-easiest in baseball)
Brewers .491 (12th-easiest in baseball)
Padres .535 (4th-hardest in baseball)

Really, the focus here is that it's Phillies-Padres-Brewers vying for two spots.

The Yankees inexplicably giving Jordan Montgomery away to the Cardinals at the deadline pretty much sealed the NL Central

Giants sign Ken Giles to a minor league deal

Don't know how close he is to pitching, but the Phils should have signed him

@Phillies
The Phillies have selected the contract of LHP Michael Plassmeyer from Lehigh Valley (AAA) and designated RHP Tyler Cyr for assignment.

Cyr-anora.
Dude very well may go down in MLB history with 1 IP and 27.00 ERA

What was your favorite memory of the Cyr era?
