Yeah,I’m in Holmdel. 40 miles northeast of Jackson ,Toms River,etc…The smoke smell is very strong here andthe sky is very hazy. I would think that playing a game and especially sitting in the stands would be very uncomfortable and potentially dangerous..

Tonight's game postponed and pushed back to Thursday at 6:05, when both teams were off.

Thor's probably going to get waived or, more likely, banished to mop up in the bullpen.
It really is amazing what the Phillies squeezed out of him last October.

Phillies had a really nice pregame ceremony for Miguel Cabrera. Ryan Howard took part.

no-no through 7, but Wheeler's at 100 pitches.
If he's starting to turn it around, it would be counterproductive to wreck his arm today
