And Hall's in the starting lineup today.
In the unlikely scenario that Hall gets hot at the plate, I wonder if/how that would affect Harper/Schwarber/trade deadline decisions.
I guess that's a good problem to have, if it occurs.

Kody probably did as well as you'd expect from a third-string first baseman, but he's really not an MLB starter.
Keep in mind, though, that he can handle 2B, 3B, corner outfield and possibly even SS in a pinch, so a decent guy to have on call.

Schwarber being an albatross in LF - makes sticking with Harper as the DH too problematic.
Too bad Hall can't play LF

OTOH this subpar offense cannot survive without Schwarber's pop.
No-power Harper and Schwarber have the same OPS (.774), so it's a coin flip which one is more valuable at DH.

(Before I get flamed, I'm aware that MV3 is a far better bat to have in the lineup than Schwarber. But I'm also aware that Harper's not hitting for power and that this lineup -- because of the inadequacies and inconsistences of Turner, Realmuto, Bohm, etc. -- could struggle even more without Schwarber, who had an .853 OPS in June. Harper at 1B remains far and away the best scenario, even if his defense is slightly worse than Hoskins)

The euphoria of scoring 19 runs against a AAA pitching staff may well be long-forgotten over the next week in Florida

Ranger has blame, but again poor OF defense starts a bad inning
