starters include a former Pirates bench guy, a Phillies bench guy who is getting too much PT, and Quad-A player making his MLB debut.

Sometimes it feels like Thompson is pulling the reins on his club. Always trying to tamp down its momentum. Earlier when Marsh was very hot and hitting well over .300, Thompson started sitting him every other game until he cooled off.
