Suárez is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Monday, Aug. 28. Rob Thomson believes he does not need a minor league rehab assignment, but says Suárez will have a lower pitch count in his next start. The Phillies could add Suárez back to the active roster on Sept. 1 when rosters expand, but that does not mean he will make his next start on Sept. 1. When Suárez comes back, the Phillies plan on going back to a six-man rotation until at least the Sept. 11 doubleheader against the Braves.

Walker is nota #3. Sanchez is.
Walker’s 1 stunning ERA is 6+. Most Phillies starters are awful in the1st inning. That is a big problem. Especially in September and October. Fix this.

Turner sure has turned it around.
