TF is a Mercado and why haven't we heard more about this tall drink of water?

Pitched quite a bit in ST. Was on the bubble to make the team. Was in the pen at AAA then moved into the rotation. They like him but didn't want him up right out of the gate and get in trouble to mess with his head.

This was (obviously) the perfect spot for his debut.
