I’m not sure how anyone can look at this team and they think they will actually contend for a World Series.

Looking more and more like they will be easily knocked out by anyone in the NL. Team has been nothing but mediocre for three months now. Middleton can’t be too happy.

The outfield needs an overhaul at the end of the season. Finding a replacement for Marsh should be a priority. He’s nothing but a platoon player who really isn’t anything special. Can’t hit a breaking ball if his life depends on it and strikes out way too much. 14 for his last 86.

All the talk from the Phillies players about how important this series was and not a single hitter showed up. This is what you get when you have a team with filled overpaid and aging players.

For all of their injuries, Braves showed more heart and fire than the Phillies. I’m sure we’ll hear the usual excuses, but this team has no leader.
