If the Phils can't find someone better than Herrera, they should just quit.

Dodgers and Padres, who actually care that there's now a DH, are finalists for Nelson Cruz

one can only hope a shitty CF platoon is doable because are there 2 big moves that will minimize the impact.

I mean, do the Phillies hate their fans or are they just incompetent? We were all thinking Bryant, Castellanos, Schwarber, etc and they are talking about Odumbell. I also saw that they were talking about Matt Chapman, but that the price was one of the Phils top three prospects. Don't get me wrong, Chapman is a Gold Glove 3B with a reasonable salary and three years of control, but he doesn't hit for average and hasn't exactly been healthy during his career. If they get him, is there room for Bohm and Hoskins? Unless there are more players in the deal or the Phils have a trade lined up for Bohm or Hoskins, it makes no sense. The Phils need OF and pitching.

Need a new owner who isn’t a total fraud.

Signing Herrera is an insult. I was so happy when the Lockout ended and so looking forward this season, but now it looks as though the Phils are trying to get into the draft lottery.

Scott Lauber

Zack Wheeler hasn’t been off a mound yet, as a consequence of his workload last year, according to Dombrowski. May be a little delayed.

I mean, every team is going to face some of this, and there will be a bit of a war of attrition in April. But the Phillies need to make the playoffs this year, and there are a lot of signs that this team could really struggle in April

Matt Winkelman

It is March 13 and the Phillies have run out of ideas on how to make their team better.
